Your Net Promoter Score (NPS) utilizes the response to question #4 on the post-care survey: On a scale of 0-10, How likely are you to refer others to our office in the future? Patients who answer that question with 9 or 10 are defined as “promoters,” 7-8 are “neutral,” and 0-6 are “detractors.” Your possible NPS score ranges from -100 to +100 and is determined by subtracting the average % of detractors from the average % of promoters. I.e., if you have twenty total patients, and ten rate you as a 9 or 10, while the other ten rate you as a 6 or below, your NPS would be 0. (50-50=0) View a sample of the post-care survey here.
